High visibility patrols will be conducted to deter shoplifting and to identify those responsible. Neighbourhood Guarantee Officers have recently arrested two suspects in the Newtown area who have been charged with twenty shoplifting offences.

Concerns have been raised about the use of E-Scooters and Scrambler bikes in Trehafren Fields, Vaynor and Dolerw Park Newtown. Officers will be focusing on enforcement and engagement to address the issue.

Local officers are continuing to work on a daily basis with the Roads Policing and Intelligence departments to develop information from the community on local concerns relating to E-Scooters and Scrambler bikes. There continues to be high visibility patrols in hotspot areas. Officers will utilise ASB and Road Traffic legislation to seize E-scooters and Scrambler bikes that are driving in an anti-social manner.

Anti Social Behaviour involving youths has been reported at St David's Church Newtown. Targeted patrols will take place to engage with young people and deal with any related issues.
