High visibility patrols of our rural villages and farms, focusing on raising awareness and offering crime prevention advice around quad bike and fuel theft. This priority will run from July- September 2026. Issued 01 July 2026	PRIORITY CLOSED- Over the past three months, Radnorshire has seen a recent spike in quad and motorbike thefts. Response and specialist department colleagues have made successful arrests in some of these investigations, including recovering some of the stolen property. There has also been an increase in copper thefts from rural location. Patrols have been conducted during this priority period. In February, a successful joint operation was run between Dyfed-Powys Police and West Mercia Police across the Shropshire border to target the increase of non-dwelling burglaries and thefts.
